Seattle Opera’s A Thousand Splendid Suns — labour of love finally reaches the stage Financial Times

The photo archive reminds us that we made a film in the most difficult possible security and economic conditions in Afghanistan. Not only our films were shown in international festivals, but inside Afghanistan, the television series we produced opened important and valuable discussions about social life, equality, and human rights... By making promotional videos, short documentaries, and television series, he created financial conditions so that we could produce artistic fiction films. Due to the security conditions of Nagura and the lack of political and security stability, foreign producers did not make films in Afghanistan until the latest film Song Sima, which happened, but unfortunately we faced a situation where it was no longer possible to make films in Afghanistan, Taliban took control of the country....and again the women voice and art become banded.
We strive for valuable and artistic cinema. For the voice of women in Afghanistan and the world For cinema and art
